Kamala Harris stands ready to serve as Vice President of the United States of America, 150 years after Victoria Woodhull’s presidential candidacy was announced in The New York Herald on April 2, 1870 and 36 years after Congresswoman Geraldine Ferraro’s historic 1984 VP nomination.
Madam President PAC endorsed Kamala Harris for VP in Salt Lake City before the debate on October 7, 2020. An early supporter, Amb. Braun stood by Joe Biden throughout the primaries. After running for president in 2020 and then endorsing Biden/Harris in Milwaukee, WI during the Democratic National Convention, Mosie Boyd actively campaigned in support of Biden/Harris during the general election.

“On this historic occasion, Madam President PAC proudly endorses Senator Kamala Harris for Vice President of the United States of America,” said former Ambassador Carol Moseley Braun, the first woman of African American heritage to serve in the U.S. Senate who ran for president in 2004. Braun serves as Senior Advisor for Madam President PAC.
“As many Americans already know, women have been running for president of the United States for 150 years now,” said Mosemarie Boyd, founder of Madam President PAC. “And 36 years have passed already since Geraldine Ferraro’s historic 1984 VP nomination.
